Kalibrr and DICT Enter Official Partnership
Kalibrr collaborates with the Department of Information and Communications Technology to help promote the department’s programs and help its students and graduates improve their skills and find meaningful career opportunities
Last March 22nd, Kalibrr Technology Ventures and the Department of Information and Communications Technology finalized a partnership that will see the two organizations collaborate on several initiatives meant to help Filipinos find success by continuing to increase their skills while at the same time making career opportunities easier to access.
According to DICT Acting Secretary, Retired Brigadier General Eliseo Rio, Jr., the partnership between the recruitment solutions provider and the national agency has come at an appropriate time, as the latter has a desire for its graduates to have access to as many opportunities as possible.
“We need this, because we have already graduated almost 2,000 participants from our programs. And while some of them have found good jobs, others still need assistance. Because while they have already attained the skills, it’s another matter for them to be able to market their skills. So we’re very much thankful to be working with Kalibrr.”
Present during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding were General Rio, Kalibrr Managing Director Cecilio Tuanquin, Kalibrr Market Development Manager Danielle Ayag, Kalibrr Program Coordinator for Strategic Partnerships Dean Bulaon, and DICT Assistant Secretary Attorney Ivin Ronald Alonza.
