The Safety, Health and Environment Specialist will be assisting in the effective and efficient implementation of company rules and regulations including national, local and community laws pertaining to safety and health

Safety Control and Emergency Preparedness

<ul>
	<li>Verifies and evaluates incidents/accidents/near misses reported by the ERT, assists in determining the root causes and corrective actions taken to prevent recurrence.</li>
	<li>Assists ERTL in the conduct of investigation of incidents/accidents and near misses and discusses report and analysis</li>
	<li>Maintains an incident recording system (accident statistics, man-hours worked) and presents these</li>
	<li>Submits annual/quarterly incident/accident/near miss reports to the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Offices and the Bureau of Working Conditions ,</li>
	<li>Identifies hazards (existing and potential), assesses risks, and implements controls to eliminate identified hazards.</li>
	<li>Maintains records of Health, Safety and activities and orientations, assists in emergency preparedness drills conducted and maintenance of fire fighting facilities.</li>
	<li>Prepares emergency preparedness plans, programs and responses to ensure risks are managed and mitigated; includes these in the existing emergency preparedness response procedures.</li>
	<li>Monitors and enforces use of personal protective equipment and maintains a list of PPEs provided.</li>
	<li>Prepares programs/activities in promoting housekeeping.</li>
	<li>Conducts regular and special Health, Safety, and Environmental inspections in coordination with grids and prepares inspection reports that are transmitted to the respective ERT for reference/action.</li>
	<li>Capacity Building on Occupational Health, Safety and Security</li>
	<li>Coordinates with Human Resource regarding Health, Safety and Environmental orientation and training programs, monitors and evaluates effectiveness of training programs in coordination with the Company Nurse and Department Heads.</li>

	<li>Assists in the facilitation of protection and resolutions of theft, threats, and other situations which may endanger well-being of the organization.</li>

Environmental Management

<ul>
	<li>Drives and ensures the compliance to all applicable regulatory requirements (PD 1586, PD 705, PD 1067, RA 6969, RA 9003, RA 8749, RA 9275) and other instrumentalities (MOAs) that the organization subscribes to.</li>
	<li>Develop strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions of the company.</li>

	<li>Monitor and evaluate progress of environmental improvement/management programs</li>
	<li>Assists in developing policies, strategies, programs and codes of practice on environmental management</li>
	<li>Acts as sustainability steward of the company. Thereby, relaying all applicable/feasible sustainability programs from Aboitiz Power to Hedcor.</li>
	<li>Review environmental incident investigation report; and approve corrective/preventive action.</li>
	<li>Collaborates with environmental scientists, planners, hazardous waste technicians, engineers, and other specialists, and experts in law and business to address environmental problems</li>
	<li>Ensure presence of risk treatment plans for all critical environmental impacts and monitor implementation.</li>
</ul>

Safety, Health and Environmental Specialist | Olongapo, Zambales

Will be responsible for the overall System Administration, operations, maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including its composite local and wide area networks, computer hardware, and operating systems.

<ul>
	<li>Provides general computer hardware and software technical support in PV Sinag and Hedcor offices including the plants, specifically but not limited to:</li>
	<li>Burn-in and acceptance/rejection of newly acquired computers and/or components.</li>
	<li>Initiates and recommends repairs/replacements of computers and/or components.</li>
	<li>Performs Network Monitoring and Optimization.</li>
	<li>Ensures push and pull operations of WSUS/Patch Management programs.</li>
	<li>Ensures push and pull operations of Anti-Virus programs.</li>
	<li>Performs and discharges System/Network Administration functions for all local network devices, servers, and users with prior approval from the department head.</li>
	<li>Reports Application-specific issues and concerns to the appropriate Systems Developer.</li>
	<li>Performs daily, weekly, and monthly corporate data backup and recovery procedures.</li>
	<li>Ensures prompt replies on IT-related problems and queries via the IT Helpdesk.</li>
	<li>Submits a monthly availability and status report on servers, workstations, and data networking systems.</li>
</ul>

Information Technology Support Engineer | For Olongapo

The position is responsible for receiving, storing, monitoring, issuing of all items (assets, stocks and non-stocks). Replenishment of buffer stocks, conducts inventory and asset count, tagging, disposal of written-off assets, recording and documenting all these transactions.

Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Inspects, counts and receives all deliveries from Suppliers including progress billing (services).</li>
	<li>Checks the delivered items against Purchase Order (PO) and Delivery Receipt (DR) or Invoice;</li>
	<li>Advises the end user / inspector for the conduct of inspection;</li>
	<li>Generates and prints Inspection Receiving Report (IRR) via ERP for conforming items and receipt of complete supporting documents;</li>
	<li>Coordinates return of non-conforming items to Buyer. Use Supplier Return Form (Non-Conformance Report) as its documentation;</li>
	<li>Returns excess deliveries upon practical inspection of quantity;</li>
	<li>Stores the items in proper location/storage area;</li>
	<li>Submits the complete document package to AP Accounting for payment processing</li>
	<li>Receives and evaluates items/materials returned/transferred from site/plant/field warehouse to main warehouse using the Material Return Slip (MRS). Informs source of any discrepancy regarding the transfers/returns.</li>
	<li>Issues materials for withdrawal as requested using the ERP or Manual Issue Slips as its documentation if the system encounters a problem.</li>
	<li>Prepares requisition for replenishment of approved buffer stocks to be reviewed by immediate Supervisor and approved by Department Head.</li>
	<li>Receives and checks Requisitions from end-users and checks availability of the requests. Issues available items to end-users with proper documentation.</li>
	<li>Labels or engraves tag number for new tools &amp; equipment delivered and registers it in the Fixed Assets Logbook.</li>
	<li>Prepares Fixed Assets Movement and Accountability Sheet (FAMAS) and forwards to Fixed Assets Accountant for recording in the Fixed Assets Module.</li>
	<li>Maintains a file of Fixed Assets Movement and Accountability Sheet (FAMAS) individually for every regular employee or group.</li>
	<li>Checks returned tools and equipment and classifies it if in good condition, defective/damaged but repairable, and beyond or uneconomical to repair.</li>
	<li>Assesses defective tools &amp; prepares Asset Disposal Certificate for approval for write off of unusable tools &amp; equipment.</li>
	<li>Responsible for the disposal of written-off items.</li>
	<li>Monitors all Tools and Equipment that were sent out for repair.</li>
	<li>Conducts 100% physical inventory count annually and random count quarterly then reconcile with record.</li>
	<li>Conducts physical count of all Accountability as per schedule then reconcile with record.</li>
	<li>Maintains accurate record of gas cylinders and conducts once a month confirmation with supplier for borrowed cylinders.</li>
	<li>Tracks borrowed cylinders by end-users at site.</li>
	<li>Monitors and updates consigned materials.</li>
	<li>Maintains all records, documents and files related to his assigned task.</li>
	<li>Reports any abnormalities or problems encountered in the performance of his duty.</li>
	<li>Receives and evaluates items/materials returned/transferred from site/plant/field warehouse to main warehouse using the Material Return Slip (MRS). Informs source of any discrepancy regarding the transfers/returns.</li>
