Job Summary

The IT Support Specialist will provide day-to-day technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and support the maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure. The role requires basic technical troubleshooting, familiarity with Microsoft 365, and foundational knowledge of network devices such as access points and switches. This position is ideal for individuals who want to grow in IT support and infrastructure.

 

Key Responsibilities

<ul>
	<li>Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.</li>
	<li>Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.</li>
	<li>Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, standard applications, and company-approved tools.</li>
	<li>Assist in user account management in Microsoft 365 (password resets, access, mailbox setup, basic admin tasks).</li>
	<li>Monitor and maintain network stability; assist in basic network troubleshooting (access points, switches, cabling, connectivity).</li>
	<li>Log, track, and resolve support tickets in a timely manner while ensuring clear communication with users.</li>
	<li>Conduct basic preventive maintenance on IT equipment.</li>
	<li>Support onboarding/offboarding by preparing devices and access accounts.</li>
	<li>Coordinate with vendors or other technical teams for escalated issues.</li>
	<li>Maintain inventory of IT assets, equipment, and licenses.</li>
	<li>Follow IT policies, security standards, and proper documentation processes.</li>
