About this Position

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support and improve our platform infrastructure, ensuring reliable application deployment and system operations. This role will be responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, operating Kubernetes clusters, and maintaining cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP environments. The DevOps Engineer will also support database infrastructure and automation initiatives to enhance system performance and operational efficiency. Working closely with the engineering team, this role plays a key part in maintaining system stability, scalability, and cloud security best practices.

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD to support automated and reliable application deployments.
• Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including deployment troubleshooting, service scaling, and cluster monitoring.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible following established standards and best practices.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources in AWS and GCP, including compute, networking, IAM, and storage services.
• Support database infrastructure operations, including building cluster servers, managing database systems, and assisting with query performance analysis.
• Manage and monitor database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Go to streamline operational processes and reduce manual tasks.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and respond to incidents with initial investigation and escalation when required.
• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including access control and infrastructure security configurations.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and continuously propose improvements to enhance system stability, efficiency, and scalability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant fields (open to related majors).
• 2–4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in managing and operating containerized environments.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD.
• Familiar with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and/or Ansible for server configuration and automation.
• Experience managing or supporting database systems, including building and maintaining database clusters and assisting with query analysis.
• Familiar with database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Basic understanding of MQTT concepts, including QoS, retained messages, session handling, and broker architecture.
• Experience operating or monitoring MQTT broker systems is a plus.
• Basic understanding of cloud services such as AWS or GCP.
• Understanding of cloud security fundamentals, particularly related to infrastructure and access management.
• Ability to write automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of ownership in managing infrastructure reliability.
