Quality Assurance Tester  

1. Execute quality assurance tasks (functional, integration, regression test) for laptop or notebook PCs

2. Perform bug/defect investigation, isolation, root cause analysis, reporting and bug fix verifications

3. Submit daily activity test and status report to technical leaders and project leaders

4. Create/update test cases

1. Candidate must be a graduate of any 4 or 5- year IT-related courses (Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent)

2. Must be knowledgeable on laptop or notebook PC basic and advanced operations

3. Working experience with latest Windows OS specifically on OS and driver installation and basic troubleshooting tools

4. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.

5. Demonstrates knowledge of testing best practices.

6. Willing to work on a project-based employment setup

7. Willing to work in a full time onsite office (Alabang office) with ability to do WFH based on project need

Preferred Skills/ Experience

• Has knowledge with basic test terminologies and principles (white-box and black-box testing, unit testing, system testing, integration testing)
• Has experience working in a product assurance or quality assurance environment
• Good communication skills in English, good reporting skills, ability to adjust rapidly with Japanese work environment
• Detail, process and result-oriented person who possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to do root cause analysis effectively
• Fast learner and can master new technologies given in a minimal amount of time
• Must be highly motivated, team player, time conscious, and hardworking
• Updated with the latest technological advancements in the IT sector
• Test automation experience on Python, Selenium, Appium and Robot Framework is an advantage
