IT Manager  

What you’ll do:

• Manages the entire Retail Pro system and Barter POS/BXI, encompassing both functional and technical aspects, and is responsible for the technical framework of the system.
• Understands system requirements (hardware and software).
• Supervises the rollout of Barter in all stores and its communication link from headquarters to stores, as well as store-to-store transactions.
• Managed BIR POS permit applications to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Supervises the entire implementation and monitors the system’s health.
• In-depth understanding of the business process, such as item/stock creation, ordering, receiving, transferring/distribution, and selling of merchandise.
• Generate and create reports required by each department, gathering the specific format required by the end user.
• Manages employees’ rights and groupings, inventory, and customer master in the POS system.
• Oversaw IT security, user access controls, and Inventory.
• Handle the Networking infrastructure, Firewall(Sophos) and ISP.
• Handle and secure the domain email

Key projects:

• Served as project lead in the completion of migration of the POS system to QlikView Business Intelligence software.
• Implemented Local Web Ticketing system called OTRS.
• Created a Crystal Report for the requirements of MPCD.

• Graduated to any 4yrs computer related course BSIT /BSCS
• At least 5 years of experience
• Has experience in project management
• Has experience in system setup and configuration
• Knowledgeable to updated MIS/IT systems
• With through and vast experiences in Network security, Sophos firewall. Wireless connectivity and routers
• With People Management and Development expertise
• Has experience in Barter POS setup and configuration
• Has experience in NAS setup and configuration
