Concierge Engineer  

We’re looking for a punctual and responsible person with an engineering mindset to join our startup team at MIEA Health and help support our clients with our product.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients on behalf of clinics, managing doctors’ schedules
• Label datasets to help train our AI
• Submit bug reports to the dev team and suggest product improvements

What we offer

• $700 USD per month
• 5-day work week, weekends off (Saturday & Sunday)
• Monthly payment under contract

What you’ll be doing

You’ll act as a clinic receptionist, stepping in whenever the AI can’t handle tricky cases. You’ll be responsible for supporting between 3 and 10 clinics. Essentially, you’ll be chatting with clinic patients, answering their questions, and helping them schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments. The work isn’t hard, but it does require punctuality and an engineering mindset.

About Us

Our product is a chatbot that automates communication between small and medium-sized clinics (GP practices, specialist practices, dental clinics, and aesthetic medicine clinics) and their patients. We’re developing AI that learns as it goes, but like all AI applications, it doesn’t get things right 100% of the time, so it needs a little guidance. That’s where you come in—helping our AI learn by setting a good example and pointing out any mistakes.

• English at C1 level or higher
• Computer literacy
• Your own computer and reliable internet connection
• Engineering thinking (an engineering background or experience with IT projects)
• Availability to work from 09:00 to 18:00 (GMT+8, Singapore time)
• Understanding of medical ethics, politeness, and the ability to escalate complex issues
