SEO Copywriter  

As an SEO Copywriter, your primary responsibility is to craft high-quality blog posts and articles for our clients’ websites, thus improving their search engine rankings and user engagement. You will work closely with other departments, such as the Content Team, On-Page SEO Specialists, and Graphic Designers to produce SEO-friendly articles and write-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clear, compelling, and engaging website copy optimized for SEO (e.g., landing pages, blog posts, etc.).
• Create content calendars to schedule and plan blog posts ahead of time.
• Perform keyword research to conceptualize quality topics for articles.
• Work with the SEO Team to come up with strategies and practices to target a specific audience.
• Update existing content to improve search engine rankings and user experience.
• Develop metadata (title tags, meta descriptions) that improve click-through rates (CTR) in search results.
• Stay up-to-date with SEO trends, algorithms, and content marketing strategies to ensure content is always relevant.

Requirements:

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for details.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and practices.
• Capable of creating engaging, SEO-friendly content for websites.
• Fairly skilled in keyword research and topic generation
• Can work with minimal supervision in a dynamic work environment
• Strong time management skills with the ability to accomplish tasks by the given deadline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Broadcasting, or other related fields
• Writing experience for different industries (e.g. B2B, e-commerce, healthcare)
