Accounting Manager  

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting staff accountable for financial reporting, invoices, collections, payroll, and budget preparation for multiple clients.
• Help recruit and hire accounting and financial staff and evaluate their performance.
• Establish guidelines and internal controls for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
• Supervise the development of business activity reports, financial projections, and annual budgets.
• Oversee the production of periodic financial reports and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Assist with tax planning throughout the fiscal year.
• Audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinate with external auditors and supply information required for the annual external audit.
• Provide management with recommendations on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Interact with clients and maintain a business relationship throughout the course of business.
• Ensure local, state, and federal government requirements are met.

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
• Experience working on US accounting.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to direct and supervise.
• BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
