Senior Manager – Data Analytics & IT  

About the role

We’re seeking a Data & IT Analytics Manager to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize IT operations. You’ll analyze data, produce reports and dashboards, maintain databases, and implement data governance. You’ll also manage a fully remote IT team, oversee Google Workspace and core systems, enforce IT policies, and recommend new technologies—including AI tools to improve efficiency. Ideal candidates are analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in remote team management, data analytics, IT operations, and modern enterprise software. Experience with Looker, Google Workspace, and AI/ML tools is highly preferred.

Your days will be filled with:

Data Analytics (Primary Focus)

• Lead the extraction, cleaning, and analysis of data using Google Sheets, Looker, and other analytics tools to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Design, produce, and present dashboards, reports, and insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Identify trends, patterns, risks, and performance gaps across complex datasets and translate them into clear recommendations.
• Develop and maintain data models, databases, and analytics frameworks to enable scalable, data-driven decision-making.
• Establish and enforce data governance standards, including data quality checks, audits, documentation, and access controls.
• Partner with senior leaders to define KPIs, success metrics, and analytics roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, building analytical capability and best practices across the organization.

Information Technology (Strategic Oversight)

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for IT operations, ensuring alignment with business and data needs.
• Oversee the management and optimization of core systems, particularly Google Workspace, in collaboration with the IT Specialist.
• Define, review, and enforce IT policies, SOPs, security, and compliance standards.
• Prioritize and oversee high-impact IT initiatives, escalations, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Evaluate, recommend, and sponsor the adoption of new technologies and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, automation, and analytics capabilities.
• Manage IT budget planning, procurement strategy, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and scalability.
• Act as the primary bridge between data, IT, and business stakeholders, ensuring technology enables—not limits—growth.

Who we are looking for:

• Experience Leading Remote Teams: At least 3 -5 years of successfully managing an IT team in a fully remote or distributed environment; experience with remote monitoring and management tools is essential.
• Google Workspace Expertise: Deep knowledge of Google Workspace administration, including advanced security, user management, and system integrations. Certification is a plus.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across distributed teams.
• Looker Experience: Hands-on experience building dashboards, data models, and reports in Looker; strong understanding of LookML and data visualization best practices.
• Strategic Technology Acumen: Strong understanding of enterprise software, cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, and modern SaaS solutions.
• Exceptional Decision-Making: Ability to make timely, informed decisions on technical issues, priorities, and resource allocation.
• Comfortable using a time-tracking tool
