Senior QA Engineer | Automation Lead  

The Senior QA Engineer / Automation Lead is the technical backbone of the QA team. This role designs, builds, and maintains test automation frameworks across web (React/TypeScript), mobile (React Native), and API (NestJS/Python) products. This is a hands-on technical role with leadership responsibilities focused on driving automation coverage to >70%.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Framework Development

• Design and build test automation frameworks using Playwright or Selenium

• Develop API test automation suites using Postman/Newman

• Build mobile test automation using Appium or Detox

• Implement Page Object Model or similar design patterns

• Write automation scripts in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python

CI/CD Integration & Performance Testing

• Integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline

• Configure test stages in CI/CD pipelines

• Implement parallel test execution

• Design and execute performance tests using k6 or Artillery

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor QA Engineers on automation best practices

• Conduct code reviews for test automation

• Lead automation knowledge-sharing sessions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of QA experience with 2–3 years focused on test automation
• Playwright or Selenium expertise
• API test automation with Postman/Newman
• TypeScript/JavaScript proficiency
• Mobile test automation – Appium or Detox
• CI/CD integration experience
• Performance testing with k6, Artillery, or JMeter
• Can read React, NestJS, and Python code
• Good English communication skills
