Network Manager  

The Network Manager is responsible for contributing to the growth and profitability of Stradcom Corporation by ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company’s data and voice communication networks. This role leads the planning, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of network architecture supporting LTO-IT projects, while ensuring high service availability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Network Planning, Design & Management

• Plan, design, and enhance the company’s data and voice communication network architecture based on short- and medium-term business needs.
• Develop, review, and implement network designs, policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure efficiency, scalability, and high availability.
• Assess future network requirements by estimating capacity needs, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
• Oversee network infrastructure including wired and wireless LAN, IPVPN, VSAT, NMS, and telco-managed services.
• Ensure network availability, accurate IP addressing plans, rollout strategies, and proper network equipment inventory management.
• Manage risks related to network and data security, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Oversee disaster recovery network activities, including coordination with telco partners for simulations and actual testing.

Project & Stakeholder Coordination

• Secure and consolidate project requirements from internal departments and external stakeholders as inputs to network planning.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, telco providers, and internal teams to resolve conflicting priorities and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide technical advice and consultation on network-related matters across all departments.
• Represent the company in dealings with external service providers, suppliers, and clients for network-related concerns, benchmarking, and partnerships.
• Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and develop Senior Network Engineers and department staff to ensure high productivity and professional growth.
• Communicate department goals, plans, and priorities clearly and secure team alignment and commitment.
• Resolve team conflicts and promote a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
• Participate in recruitment, selection, and staffing decisions in accordance with company policies.
• Preside over regular department meetings to review accomplishments, issues, and action plans.

Performance & Resource Management

• Establish department objectives and KPIs aligned with company goals and customer expectations.
• Monitor team performance against agreed deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.
• Manage the department budget and control resources to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Review the effectiveness of network security and data protection programs.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of departmental reports, performance updates, and management presentations.
• Lead annual performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and development planning for direct reports.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in division-wide planning activities, including annual planning and executive management workshops.
• Lead or participate in special projects as assigned by top management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCDA, CCNP) or CompTIA Network+/Security+ are required.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in network planning, design, and operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial or professional leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of telco infrastructure, including IPVPN, internet services, wired/wireless LAN, and network management systems.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results on time.
