Project Manager  

Job Descriptions:

• Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, QA, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and smooth execution of project tasks.
• Develop project plans, set milestones, track progress, and identify potential risks or roadblocks early to mitigate delays.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to analyze complex challenges and come up with effective solutions, ensuring the project stays on track.
• Manage the project backlog, prioritize tasks, and guide the team in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure effective use of Agile methodologies, driving efficiency and collaboration across the team and stakeholders.
• Use critical thinking and analytical skills to assess project requirements, evaluate technical challenges, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, presenting project progress, risks, and issues clearly and confidently.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment, motivating the team to achieve goals and solve problems proactively.
• Ensure the project aligns with business goals, customer needs, and industry best practices, especially in the insurance domain.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, encouraging continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Track project performance, gather feedback, and iterate on processes to optimize efficiency and success.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
• At least 2 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, with proven experience managing IT-related projects.
• Ex-developer with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and technical processes.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and drive project success.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities to identify issues and implement solutions effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
• Proven experience in managing Agile teams and working in Agile environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and its processes is highly preferred
