External Relations Specialist | For Benguet  

He/ She will be responsible for performing and accomplishing the necessary activities required to establish and strengthen stakeholder engagement, relationship and support in order to accomplish identified business requirements and wins, such as, but not limited to acquisition of various permits needed for the existing plants/plant expansion; expansion of lands for permanent and temporary facilities; resolution of community issues

• Coordinates with concerned government offices, officials and personnel the complaints and problems affecting project implementation.
• Provides the necessary assistance requested by the various departments. Attends to complaints and problems directly brought to the attention of the Section; and in coordination with the concerned department, directly or indirectly undertakes necessary inspection, verification, assessment and/or negotiation; and thereafter prepare and submit report through the External Relations Supervisor.
• Assists and/or directly participate in negotiations with landowners affected by the proposed or on-going projects.
• Initiates the preparation and processing of requests for payments due lot rentals, crop or property damages and payments for permits/clearances; to include the release of the same to concerned parties after duly recording them.
• Assists in the preparation and processing of permits and clearances.
• Initiates the preparation and notarization of Contracts of Lease, Quitclaims and Deeds of Sale.
• Prepares accomplishment and progress reports.
• When needed, support the Legal and Compliance team in public consultations, meetings and forums.
• Community Relations/ Corporate Social Responsibility
• Monitors and ensures that the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects are implemented based on the Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) with host communities.
• Prepares CSR project proposals.
• Ensures implementation of CSR Projects and ensures that these are implemented on time and within budget.
• Prepares Memorandum of Agreements, Deed of Donations, Deed of Acceptance, Contract of Work and other CSR related documents.
• Ensures timely submission of documentary requirements to Aboitiz Foundation.
• Assists LGUs in the availment of ER 1-94 Fund.
• Prepares monthly/annual CSR reports for submission to the External Relations Manager.
• Maintains files related to his assigned duties.

• Must be a Bachelor’s Degree holder, preferably in Public Administration, Political Science, or any degree relevant to the job
• With excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• With at least one (1) year of relevant experience in Stakeholder Management, Community Development, and Corporate Social Responsibility
• Must be willing to travel as needed
