Ironmaking Raw Material Procurement Staff  

Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement of raw materials required for the ironmaking process, such as iron ore, coal and limestone
• Negotiate and secure contracts with suppliers to obtain the best possible terms and pricing
• Monitor global commodity markets and trends to make informed purchasing decisions
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and transportation of raw materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records and forecasting to anticipate future material requirements
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand production needs and priorities
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Have 3-5 years experience in Procurement Raw Material (preferably in manufacture industry)
• Minimum bachelor degree of any major, preferably business, economics, statistics, or engineering major
• Good business communication skills, both verbal and written
• Very fluency in English, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• No problem in traveling abroad and domestic
• Advantage for Proficient in Chinese (spoken)
• This job is contract based
