- Manage and maintain VMware virtualization environment, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server
- Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of VMware infrastructure
- Provision, deploy, and manage virtual machines based on business requirements
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of virtual environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualization, servers, and infrastructure
- Perform resource allocation and optimization (CPU, memory, storage) for virtual machines
- Implement and manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions for virtual environments
- Ensure system security by applying patches, updates, and hardening best practices
- Manage user access and permissions within virtual infrastructure
- Collaborate with network, system, and application teams to support infrastructure needs
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Perform routine system checks, maintenance, and health monitoring
- Support incident handling and provide timely resolution based on SLA
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum education Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Engineer, Virtualization Engineer, or in a similar role
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of VMware technologies including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server, covering installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of virtualization concepts, including virtual machine provisioning, resource allocation, and performance optimization
- Experience with system administration on Linux and/or Windows Server, including user and access management, network configuration, and storage management
- Proficient in monitoring and performance tuning of virtual environments
- Experience in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for virtual machines Knowledge of system security, patching, and hardening in virtualized environments
- Comfortable working with Command Line Interface (CLI) and basic scripting
- Willing to work shifts Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), automation tools (Ansible, Terraform), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
