IT Security Compliance  

• Monitor security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS) to detect, investigate, and escalate security alerts as needed
• Assist in incident response, ensuring timely mitigation, documentation of security events and maintain thorough documentation
• Ensure security best practices are followed in system configurations and deployments
• Collaborate with the IT team to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities, ensuring the timely patching of systems
• Assist in developing and implementing security policies and procedures. Support the GRC team in risk assessments, audits, and compliance initiatives
• Assist in developing and maintaining incident response plans, including participating in tabletop exercises and incident simulations
• Ensure security best practices are followed in system configurations and deployments
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security trends, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques

​​​​​We are seeking a skilled Security Analyst to join our team as a key player in maintaining the organization's security posture. This role focuses on monitoring, detecting, and responding to potential security threats, analyzing security data, and supporting ongoing risk management efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational mindset, technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• 3-4+ years of experience in security operations, monitoring, or incident response roles
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CEH, GSEC) are preferred but not mandatory
• Proficiency in security monitoring tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS) and techniques for threat detection and incident response
• Experience with analyzing security alerts, triaging incidents, generating actionable insights, common attack vectors, malware analysis, and endpoint protection tools
• Understanding of network protocols, operating systems and cloud security fundamentals, also experience with scripting/programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Knowledge of vulnerability management processes and experience assisting with patching efforts
• Strong analytical skills, able to communicate technical security findings effectively, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
• Willing to WFO (Work From Office - BSD CITY)
