What you'll be doing
1. End-to-End Accounting Operations
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Execute month-end and year-end closing activities
- Manage fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and AP/AR support
2. Financial Reporting
- Prepare full set of financial statements
- Prepare Notes to Financial Statements in compliance with applicable standards
- Support external and internal audit engagements
3. ICFR Compliance
- Maintain basic understanding and compliance with ICFR framework
- Execute and document key controls with proper supporting evidence
- Assist in control testing and self-assessment activities
- Identify and escalate control gaps or deficiencies
4. General
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
- Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Accounting Staff to join our dynamic team at PT Krakatau Posco in Cilegon, Banten. As a full-time team member, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting the company's financial operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and sustainable business growth.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification is a plus (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent)
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or financial reporting and ICFR
- Proven hands-on experience in managing end-to-end accounting processes within a large-scale manufacturing industry.
- Prior exposure to financial statement preparation, including Notes to Financial Statements
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Familiarity with audit processes and working with external auditors
- Experience in a public accounting firm or corporate finance environment is an advantage
