Job Description

1. Provide SAP Basis Support during SAP development and SAP production phase:

• Support the necessary SAP hardware and system software environment specifically in High Availability environment (i.e. HACMP);

• Administer user profile and authorization;

• Maintenance of the SAP system on the development and production server;

• Manage SAP correction and control system;

• Support technical integrity of the SAP system and application software;

• Support the helpdesk team in technical issues related to SAP;

• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP related technical problems;

• Monitor SAP performance and perform basic tuning and configure SAP systems to maintain performance; and

• Develop operational system procedure (e.g. backup, restore etc).

2. Provide Database Administration (DBA) support during SAP development and SAP production phase :

• Support SAP Basis Consultant and assist CAP Application Team on Database related task;

• Support maintenance of current HANA database for the SAP system on the development and production server on High Availability environment;

• Manage and apply patches for database as necessary;

• Keep the technical integrity of the database;

• Supporting the helpdesk team in technical issues related to database;

• Troubleshoot and resolve database problem;

• Monitor database performance and perform basic tuning and configure database to maintain performance; and

• Develop operational system procedure (e.g. backup, restore etc.).

• Perform database backup and restore using IBM Spectrum Protect and Cristie.

Minimum Qualifications
