- Assist in developing simple recipe concepts, improving existing ones, and conducting small-scale (lab/kitchen) trials.
- Record key trial parameters (time, temperature, ingredients) and support basic shelf-life and sensory evaluations.
- Conduct light research on ingredients, preservation methods, and food trends.
- Help collect and organize ingredient cost data, compare planned vs. actual trial results, and support yield/waste analysis.
- Assist in drafting simple WI/SOPs, preparing training materials, and maintaining organized documentation for all trials.
Minimum Qualifications
- Final-year student or fresh graduate in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary, or related fields.
- Having basic knowledge of food safety concepts
- Comfortable learning about costing, raw materials, and basic product development processes.
- Able to prepare simple reports and maintain trial documentation.
- Detail-oriented & willing to learn
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets at a basic level (data entry, simple formulas).
