Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities:
The Marketing Communications Officer is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of marketing and communication initiatives that support the visibility, positioning, and promotion of different programs of the CCE and all its Business Units (e.g., PO, IP, Ateneo BAP Institute of Banking [AB-IB], Le Cordon Bleu Ateneo de Manila [LCBA], Institute for Digital Enterprise [IDE], CU/Academies/Special Projects). The position ensures consistency of messaging and adherence to Ateneo branding and communication standards across all communication platforms.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
I. Marketing Communications Planning and Implementation
- Develops and implements marketing communication plans aligned with AGSB–CCE program offerings, enrollment objectives, and institutional priorities.
- Translates program objectives and institutional messages into clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate communication materials.
- Supports the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event-related platforms.
II. Content Development and Management
- Prepares, reviews, and refines communication materials, including, but not limited to, program announcements, email campaigns, website content, social media posts, brochures, and event collaterals.
- Ensures accuracy, clarity, timeliness, and brand alignment of all marketing and communication materials prior to dissemination.
- Maintains consistency of tone, messaging, and visual identity in accordance with Ateneo and AGSB–CCE brand guidelines.
III. Digital and Social Media Management
- Manages and updates official AGSB–CCE digital platforms and social media channels in coordination with relevant internal units.
- Monitors engagement metrics and recommends improvements to content and communication strategies.
IV. Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinates with internal units, including Program Sales, Program Development, faculty, and partner organizations, to gather content and align communication efforts.
- Coordinates with the University Marketing and Communications Office (UMCO) to ensure compliance with University communication protocols and branding standards
V. Event Communications Support
- Provides marketing and communication support for program launches, training programs, forums, and institutional events.
- Oversees the preparation of communication materials related to events, including pre-event promotions and post-event documentation.
VI. Monitoring, Documentation, and Continuous Improvement
- Tracks basic performance indicators of marketing communication initiatives and prepares summary reports for management review.
- Maintains an organized repository of approved marketing and communication materials, templates, and brand assets.
- Keeps abreast of current marketing and communication trends, tools, and best practices and recommends relevant improvements.
VII. Performs other work-related tasks as may be required by the immediate supervisor and authorized representative.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge
- Knowledge of marketing communications principles, content strategy, and brand management.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms, social media channels, and basic analytics.
- Familiarity with institutional communication standards and brand governance frameworks.
Skills
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Effective verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Planning, coordination, and project management skills.
- Ability to review, refine, and ensure quality of communication materials.
- Proficiency in common productivity and content creation tools; basic design skills are an advantage.
Abilities
- Ability to translate complex program information into clear and compelling messages.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in ensuring accuracy, tone, and brand alignment.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- At least three (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience in marketing communications, content development, or institutional marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Work experience in Photography and Video Editing is an advantage
