Job Description
1. Strategy Development & Execution
- Design and implement comprehensive PR strategies to increase the company visibility and reinforce its brand image across traditional media, digital platforms, and social media. Ensure the messaging align with the overall company vision and business goals.
2. Media Relations
- Establish and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.
- Develop and distribute press releases, media statements, and other materials.
- Organize and manage media events, including press conferences, interviews, and briefings.
- Monitor media coverage and respond to media inquiries.
3. Government Relations
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with government officials and regulatory bodies (like KPI, KomInfo/Digi)
- Represent the company in meetings with government officials and agencies.
- Supporting government activities that have a good impact on KG Media.
3. External Relations
- Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including industry associations, NGOs, and other organizations.
- Act as a liaison between the company and external partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Supporting external activities that have a good impact on KG Media.
5. Internal Relations
- Facilitate internal communication and ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to engage employees.
- Create and distribute internal newsletters, announcements, and other communication materials/media.
- Organize internal events, such as town halls, employee briefings, and team-building activities.
6. Crisis Communication
- Act as a key point of contact during crisis, developing and implementing crisis communication strategies to protect and preserve the company reputation.
7. Community Relations
- Facilitate internal communication and ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to engage employees.
- Create and distribute internal newsletters, announcements, and other communication materials.
- Organize internal events, such as town halls, employee briefings, and team-building activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations or Communications.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, government relations, or a similar role, preferably in the media industry with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape, including trends in digital and social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak confidently and persuasively in front of senior management, clients and the media.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
