- Continuously monitor systems, networks, applications, and endpoints using security tools (SIEM and IDS/IPS) to identify suspicious activities or anomalies.
- Analyze security logs and alerts to detect potential cyber threats, vulnerabilities, or policy violations.
- Perform triage and prioritization of security alerts to determine whether an incident requires escalation or further action.
- Investigate detected cybersecurity incidents, including malware attacks, intrusion attempts, and data breaches.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for security incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor and maintain security tools and infrastructure used in daily operations (firewalls, VPNs, anti-malware solutions, SIEM, etc.).
- Perform routine security patching on systems and applications to minimize vulnerabilities.
- Conduct tuning and optimization of security tools to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to security incidents, monitoring results, and risk assessments, and support audit activities.
- Develop and maintain security standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor the implementation of new technologies and processes to enhance security effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other department and vendor related with IT security operation
- Scheduled regular vulnerability scan and penetration test for new system/application.
- Design and implement real security controls across NGFW, EDR, and cloud security - in production, for real customers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the cybersecurity domain
- Knowledge, Skills, and abilities: Network Security, Information security / Cyber Security, Windows Server Administrator, Linux Administrator
- Familiar with security verification & penetration testing (Kali, Metasploit, Nessus, etc.)
- Understanding of security framework (NIST 800-53)
- Very good knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
- Prior experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment is an added advantage
- Background in Network Engineering or experience as a System Administrator are a plus
- Strong proficiency in configuring, managing, and implementing firewall solutions
- Comprehensive understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP) and proficiency in using packet analysis tools such as Wireshark for anomaly detection
- Experience in managing and operating various security tools, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, and Cloud Security Tools
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and effectively communicate technical findings to non technical stakeholders, including management
- High attention to detail & active
