Architectural Drafter  

We're in search of a skilled Architectural Drafter with a deep understanding of structural principles. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate conceptual designs into precise technical drawings, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and structural stability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with architects and designers to understand project requirements and objectives, with particular emphasis on structural considerations.
• Utilize CAD software to produce comprehensive architectural drawings, plans, and blueprints, ensuring alignment with structural principles.
• Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to verify compliance with industry standards and building codes related to structural design and construction.
• Integrate quantity surveying principles to optimize designs and material estimates.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions into drawings throughout the design process.
• Coordinate with project team members and consultants to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather relevant data for drawing production.
• Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and building regulations.

• Bachelor's or Associate degree or equivalent in Architecture, Drafting, or related field.
• 3 years minimum of proven experience as an architectural drafter or similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction techniques, and building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
