Is this role right for you?
We are seeking an experienced Senior Reporting and Automation Manager. to lead the development and automation of our reports, working closely with the Head of Reports Team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions to streamline our reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of high-quality reports. This is a co-leadership role, where you will collaborate with the Head of Reports Team to drive the strategic direction of the reports team and ensure seamless integration of product development and automation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Design and develop new reports and dashboards to meet the evolving needs of our organization.
- Automation: Identify opportunities for automation in our reporting processes and develop strategies to implement them.
- Co-Leadership: Collaborate with the Head of Reports Team to set the strategic direction for the reports team.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to inform report development and automation strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
- Quality Control: Ensure reports meet our quality standards and are delivered on time.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on new reports and automation tools.
Minimum Qualifications
Are you right for the role?
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in media analysis, reporting, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in media monitoring tools, data analysis software, and reporting platforms. Advanced knowledge of Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Experience in interpreting complex data sets and generating actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present data and insights clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team. Experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality reports.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage change effectively.
