Java Developer  

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java 21 and related frameworks.

Implement solutions leveraging Spring Framework / Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.

Build and integrate RESTful APIs and Web Services (SOAP/JSON/XML).

Work with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and write complex SQL queries.

Collaborate in designing and implementing microservices architecture.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and support.

Support and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

Work closely with cross-functional teams (QA, BA, DevOps) in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to enhance system scalability and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices in all deliverables.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.

Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

- 4+ years of proven experience as a Java Developer in enterprise-level application development.

- Strong expertise in Java 21 and solid understanding of OOP principles.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.

- Proficient in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and Web Services (SOAP/JSON/XML).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).

- Strong skills in databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) with ability to write complex SQL queries.

- Understanding of microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS) is an advantage.

- Experience in banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.

- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology.
