Business Analyst Insurance Industry  

About the role:

Yondu Inc., a leading provider of information and communication technology solutions, is seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Business Analyst (Insurance Industry), you will play a crucial role in analysing and improving our client's business processes and systems, with a focus on the insurance sector. This full-time position is based in Taguig City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for new or enhanced software solutions

Conduct thorough analysis of the client's current business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation

Design and document comprehensive process flows, user stories, and other artefacts to support the development of software solutions

Serve as a subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations to the development team to ensure the delivered solutions meet the client's needs

Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to elicit requirements and resolve any issues or conflicts

Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including requirements specifications, test plans, and user manuals

Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to the project team and stakeholders

What we're looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business problems and devise effective solutions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language

Proficient in using business analysis tools and techniques, such as process mapping, use case modelling, and requirements elicitation

Familiarity with software development life cycle methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders
