Coal Quality Control  

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient, and on-time execution of coal loading operations in compliance with K3LH standards.
• Manage end-to-end shipment activities from jetty to mother vessel, including real-time coordination and issue resolution.
• Control and monitor vessel line-up, barge schedules, and delivery flow to avoid delays and disruptions.
• Deliver accurate and timely operational reports (loading progress, vessel schedule, weather updates, and shipping documents).
• Coordinate effectively with agents, miners, surveyors, shippers, buyers, and vessel crew.
• Oversee coal sampling and surveyor processes until final draft report issuance.
• Validate and maintain accuracy of coal quality data and operational records (CO/SOB).
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all onboard documentation throughout loading activities.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to maintain smooth execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of D3/S1 in Mining, Geology, or related fields.
• Domiciled in Palembang, South Sumatra.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in coal mining, coal trading, port or shipping operations (must have exposure to vessel & barge operations).
• Strong understanding of end-to-end coal shipment process (jetty to mother vessel), including loading, sampling, and surveyor reporting.
• Good knowledge and experience in handling vessel line-up, barge scheduling, and real-time operational coordination.
• Experienced in working closely with agents, surveyors, miners, shippers, and vessel crew.
• Able to monitor operations on-site and onboard vessel when required.
• Detail-oriented with strong ability to handle reporting, data reconciliation (CO/SOB), and documentation.
• Good communication skills and able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Able to handle operational pressure and resolve issues quickly on the ground.
