Job Description
As a project lead advisory, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive advisory services and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Manage various advisory works from both transaction (merger, acquisition, divestment, and spin-off, holding formation, debt and corporate restructuring, fundraising, fund creation) and non-transaction role (feasibility and economical study, business plan, project management, post completion monitoring and cash flow management assistance) collaborating with 3rd party advisors and consultants
- Take a management role in the project team by assuming responsibility for the day-to-day activity of high-profile project assignments including managing stakeholders and advisors’ consortium
- Manage all process from initiation, proposal, execution and closing the project
- Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to SEVP of Advisory and above
- Be involved in the financial management of clients
- Support SEVP of advisory in the business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
- Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
- Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience in investment banking, corporate finance, financial and management consulting, private equity, venture capital or in-house M&A activities, with minimum 3 years’ experience leading a team consist of 3-4 people
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economic, Management, Accounting, Business Administration or Engineering, Master degree is an advantage;
- Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills, and able to manage/lead team effectively and possess a high level of integrity
- Experience in evaluating corporate transactions and structures
- Strong financial analysis/ financial due diligence and modelling skills
- Good business sense and commercial acumen
- Highly motivated with the ability to work a demanding schedule in an entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to practically apply knowledge to identify issues and solve complex problems
- Proactively providing guidance, clarification and feedback, including prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
- Strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills; and
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
