Job Description
- Develop and implement strategy towards zero defect software;
- Analyze user requirements and convert requirements to design documents;
- Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenge;
- Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications;
- Development of technical specifications and plans test;
- Maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization;
- Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues;
- Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability;
- Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns and developing standard operating procedures;
- Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems;
- Investigating and using new technologies where relevant;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions;
- Providing written knowledge transfer material;
- Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy and Working closely with project teams;
- Suggest solutions to identified product problems;
- Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction;
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement;
- Oversee continuous improvement projects;
- Identify key KPIs for product quality;
- Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management;
- Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to resolve issues;
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in engineering management.
- Strong command of programming languages and frameworks used in banking and fintech applications.
- Deep understanding of database management.
- Experience with Java is highly beneficial.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
