Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tactical Sales and Revenue Development

  • Implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve assigned revenue targets, both at the individual and cluster level, with the prospect of selling both print and digital products.
  • Monitor and supervise the sales operations of key accounts and accounts of the assigned cluster.
  • Identify prospective clients, new business opportunities, industry trends and advertising solutions that drive client value.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals and pitches with the sales and marketing teams to address client objectives.
  • Present and discuss proposals to clients; negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring profitable agreements that align with sales goals.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and content producing teams for execution of client products, deliverables and campaigns.
  • Participate in relevant industry events and network with potential partners to raise the brand’s profile and open new revenue channels.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring consistent and responsive service.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and institutional advertisers.
  • Ensure exceptional client servicing and fulfillment of contractual obligations for advertising and content deliverables.

3. Cross-Platform Collaboration

  • Work closely with the digital sales and product teams, to ensure a seamless customer experience across platforms.
  • Develop and promote sales packages that combine print placements with high-impact digital visibility.

4. People Supervision

  • Supervise and mentor a cluster/team of sales members.
  • Support in the evaluation of team performance, ensuring compliance with organization’s performance management policies and timelines; support professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, creative and customer-focused team culture.

5. Policy, Reporting and Compliance

  • Monitor account performance of the cluster, prepare regular sales and activity reports for management.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, proposals and campaign outcomes.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators and cluster sales performance and provide insights and recommendations to management on how to improve process and sales or revenue generation.
  • Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations.

6. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 3 years experience in sales or account management, preferably with key/strategic clients.

  • Computer, digital and tech savvy
  • Social networking and presentation skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office
  • Good organizational and analytical abilities
