- Have expertise in managing infrastructure (AWS) that can scale to handle hundreds or millions of users.
- Interact directly with users and explain technical issues to non-technical people.
- Integrate security practices into DevOps processes and workflows form development, and testing, through to production.
- Conduct security assessment, vulnerability testing, and code reviews to identify and mitigate risks early in the development lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain security controls and monitoring in cloud and on-premises environments
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment of security goals with business objectives.
- Create documentation including standards, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Pro-active engagement for improvement of infrastructure operations and managed services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
- At least 3 Years) of working experience in the related fields is required for this position.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
- Experience with container technologies (e.g. docker), Jenkins, and understanding Groovy language.
- Great understanding of DevOps practices and why to use them (e.g. CI, CD, Infrastructure as code, automated testing).
- Experience with at least some of our middle and databases: NGINX, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, MySQL, and Postgres.
- Experience in contributing to the systems architecture.
- Experience with application development (e.f. PHP, NodeJs, Golang) is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization monitoring (Eg. Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus) is a plus.
- Experience with container orchestration (Eg. Kubernetes) is a plus.
