- As an Aircraft Quality Inspector at PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF), you will play a critical role in ensuring that all aircraft maintenance activities are performed in accordance with applicable aviation regulations, customer requirements, manufacturer instructions, and GMF quality standards. You will serve as an independent quality representative responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and verifying maintenance activities throughout the maintenance process to ensure aircraft safety, reliability, and continued airworthiness.
- You will oversee all aspects of maintenance activities, including pre-maintenance, in-process, and post-maintenance inspections. Your responsibilities will include implementing and monitoring Quality Control Programs to ensure the serviceability and airworthiness of aircraft, engines, and components in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- This role requires strong technical expertise in aircraft electrical, avionics, and navigation systems, maintenance procedures, inspection techniques, and aviation regulations. You will also work closely with maintenance personnel, engineering teams, customers, and regulatory authorities to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum D3 in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, aircraft quality inspection, quality assurance, continuing airworthiness, or related aviation technical functions.
- Hold a minimum of two Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) categories from A1, A2, and A4, or possess all C categories (C1, C2, and C4).
- Holds a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL) or equivalent aviation maintenance certification.
- Completion of Aircraft Type Training such as B737 Series, B777 Series, A320 Family, A330 Series, ATR 72 Series, Bell-412, or other relevant aircraft types.
- Familiarity with CASR/FAR/EASA Part 145 or Military Authority Regulation.
- Experience within commercial aviation, military aviation, MRO, or aerospace organizations will be an advantage.
