- Lead the design, construction, and management of highly secure, scalable, and available cloud architectures in the target cloud environment for medium scale projects in close coordination with development and project teams.
- Contributes to the selection of the development and deployment methods, tools and techniques.
- Automate complex cloud workflows. Design and implement advanced automation scripts using IaC tools to streamline cloud infrastructure management and deployments.
- Lead the configuration of cloud infrastructure components, including networking and security services.
- Lead the conversion of technical component designs into efficient back-end or front-end code.
- Implement security best practices and monitor cloud security posture.
- Collaborates with developers and architects to understand application requirements and translate them into optimized cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Lead the deployment and migration process for optimal cloud performance.
- Collaborate effectively with clients to understand and meet their SDLC requirements, business needs, and cloud adoption goals.
- Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to recommend optimal solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Assists team with any Cloud Engineering related tasks
- Contribute to the formulation initiatives to increase skills, quality & efficiency for the team
Minimum Qualifications
- At least graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or any related course.
- At least 5 years of working experience in developing websites, web applications, web services, or mobile applications.
- With at least 2 years work experience as a Cloud Engineer in roles such as Software Engineer, System Administrator, Network Administrator, DevOps Engineer is valuable.
- Must at least have 1 Certification (Professional/Expert Level) in any of the cloud platforms.
- Proven experience in the following:
- Working with Orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Terraform.
- Working in a DevSecOps project environment.
- Deploying Infrastructure as Code within a cloud environment.
- Developing a cloud architecture with various solutions addressing computing, storage solutions, security measures, networking, and automation capabilities.
- Cloud Service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba)
- Container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Object-Oriented Design and Programming
- HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript frameworks
- MySQL, MongoDB, or similar database management systems
- Web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
- Knowledgeable in the following:
- Any integration protocols like SMPP, UCP, and HTTP, and others
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong proficiency in Git-related tooling and DevOps principles.
- Using version control (e.g. SVN, Git)
- Debugging and optimization skills
- Server-side setup (Linux/Windows)
- Web to mobile integration
- Java, Python, AWS, and .Net is a plus
